Don’t Forget These Wedding Must-Haves

If you’re soon to be married – congratulations! This is the beginning of the rest of your life, and you can milk the big day as much as you want, because it’s all about the love between you and your partner. One of the most stressful things about a wedding though, is all of the planning that is required of you. You need to come up with a location, a theme, bridesmaid dresses, your dress, the flowers, the service, the vehicles, the cake, the party – there’s a lot to do. During this stage, it’s usually the time where you can expect to have a meltdown because your brain is overloaded with information – this is normal, and it’s not the end of the world, so take a break and breathe, and if it’s becoming out of hand, you could always hire a professional wedding planner to take the pressure off yourself. That way you can tell them your visions and they can make it happen for you. Just make sure you tell them what your budget is!

There are some things though, that you just can’t afford to go without on the big day. So here are a few of the essential must-haves.

Photo booth

This is a lot of fun and makes things a lot more exciting not only for you, but for your guests too. All you need to do is hire a photo booth, along with some cool props, and keep it in the corner of your room where your party is held. Let everyone know that they are welcome to use it throughout the night. You will then be left with tons of funny pictures of all your favourite people, and these can be transferred onto your device, or be printed out and added to a photo album, while your guests will be able to have an instant printout that captures their evening.

Wedding videographer

So many people know to hire a photographer so that all the moments are captured on your big day, but technology is so much more than it was nowadays, so rather than sticking with the basic photo albums, why not go one step further and hire a videographer too? They can make a video to cater to any kind of ceremony, be it civil, church, same sex, or a Jewish wedding video. So speak to them beforehand and tell them the most important moments for you, and they will tell you their ideas too so that you get an unforgettable film by the end of it.

A change of shoes

Ladies, you know that feeling of urgency after a night out on the town where you’re absolutely dying to take off those heels? Well, imagine that times one hundred. Remember, from the time you’re ready in the late morning/early afternoon, you will be all dressed up from head to toe. And by the time your party arrives, you will just want to throw your heels across the other side of the room. Instead of doing this though, you can have a plan B pair that are still cute, but without the torture of a stiletto heel.
