This is a contributed post

In the countdown to your wedding, you are likely to have a hen party planned (or being planned for you, quite rightly). But what to do for the hen party? You might want to go down more of a traditional route of an afternoon tea or a spa trip. But more and more people are making it something really unique and something to make memories that will last and choosing something a little different. Here are some ideas of more unique hen party ideas; are there any that you fancy?

Weekend Break

Having a weekend away can be a great idea for a hen party. Though it usually only works best if there are a smaller group of people, otherwise, it can be really tricky to organise! It could be a European city break, with places like Amsterdam, Budapest, and Barcelona being some of the top destinations. But how about staying slightly closer to home? You could look up things to do in Cardiff, Brighton, Manchester, London or Newcastle, as they are popular cities for partying the night away. You could shop, you could chill, you could go on an adventure.

Pole Classes

Pole fitness classes are becoming more and more popular, with studios popping up all over the country. But if you like you let your hair down, many pole studios offer hen party packages. You’ll get the place to yourself, and get to try out some new moves. It can be a really fun thing to do with your girlfriends, and could be finished off with a meal out afterwards.

Action and Adventure

If you’re a bit more of an adrenaline junkie, then you might want to try something that you have never done before. It could be white water rafting, kayaking, camping, or abseiling. The good news is that there are spots all over the country that allow you to do just that, and even offer packages and discounts for brides to be. Who says the stags get to have all of the action?

Vintage Photoshoot

If there are is a small group of you that make up your bridal party, then it could be fun to get together to have some bubbles, while getting all dolled up in a vintage style. With the right hair and makeup and stunning vintage outfits, it could be an amazing photoshoot that will leave you with plenty of memories to last.

Baking Classes

For something completely different, you could make your own afternoon tea, rather than just eat it! Places like Cake Boy and Livia’s Kitchen offer baking courses down in London, so that could be something that you book to try something new with your girls. You get to enjoy the spoils afterwards, and could make a weekend out of it in the city.

Have you been on a bit of a different hen weekend before? It will depend on the number of people and the budget that you’re looking at, but can make it a weekend to remember.
